Agenda - Subject to change and artist availability

6:45- 7:15PM - Stump the Gurus
Join Gurus Patrick Southern, Misha Tenenbaum, Michael Kammes and Steve Kanter as they will attempt to answer all of your questions and solve all of your problems concerning FCS and FCPX, Avid, Premiere Pro and anything else you can think of. If they can't solve your problem or answer your question, then you go home with a problem, but you still got out of the house, so that's not a bad thing.

7:20PM - 7:30PM - Announcements
This is your time, assuming we have time. New to LA? Say Hello. Got a movie you want people to see? Tell us about it. Looking for a job? Tell us. Offering a job? Tell us.

7:30PM - 8:25PM - DaVinci Resolve 14 - Paul Saccone
With post, in the end it is all about the work and final result. The best tools help you do your best work and, every once in a while, something new comes along that changes everything. Paul will walk through how to use DaVinci Resolve 14 so you can do your best work, collaborate in post better than you have ever been able to, craft the perfect story and make every frame look and sound absolutely perfect!

DaVinci Resolve 14 has hundreds of new features for editors, colorists and now, for the first time, audio professionals. The new playback engine dramatically increases responsiveness with up to 10x better performance for editors. You also get a whole new page with the full Fairlight audio post production tools that let you record, edit, mix, sweeten and master sound with full 3D audio space and up to 1000 channels. Colorists will find amazing new filters that include automatic facial recognition and tracking for quickly smoothing skin tones, brightening eyes, changing lip color and more! Plus, DaVinci Resolve 14 features revolutionary new multi user collaboration tools such as bin locking, chat and timeline merging that allow editors, colorists, and sound editors to all work on the same project at the same time!
